I just got back from 3 days on that fire as Animal Tech. and it is still burning pretty darn good. The heat was unreal as the first day was 107 and then add a little heat from the fire and wow it was something else.
We had two fires going with a small one above Sturgis and this big one . The Ricco Fire and the other one was caused by lightning strikes.
