Billy, even though you ride a noisy bike, I'll divulge the information you seek.
  Leupold performs the service for $149 whether it's a Varmint or B&C reticle. The last time I sent a scope to Leupold was for a broken reticle and it was back on my rifle in 8 days as a warranty repair. I can't say whether they would make that turnaround for a replacement reticle but it wouldn't surprise me. Being on the left coast helped with the expedited shipping too.
