Had lunch with Ms. America

I was at Corvettes at Carlisle over the weekend. Since I am President of the York County Corvette Club I get invited to the celebrity luncheon on Saturday. We're sitting their talking to a couple other Presidents of clubs and guess who sits down at our table? Ms. America Deidra Downs. Got her autograph and had a picture taken with her. Very nice lady. I was more impressed than the wife was. If I knew how to post a pic I would. Only bad thing is, she's a good 6" taller than me. Got to meet some other mostly Corvette related celebrities like Dave McClellan, corvette cheif engineer from 75-92, Wil Cooksley, plant manager for the corvette, Dave Hill, current corvette chief engineer and so on. Pretty neat for a simple guy like me.
