Muzzleloaders as Christmas gifts.

I have been approached by three different women seeking advice on a ML gift for husbands/significant others. I like the idea of a muzzleloader as a gift since most MLs made today will last longer than a lifetime, if they receive proper care. All sought input on a Traditional ML and the local shop, and only shop in town, appreciated my input. To date the ratio is 2 flintlocks and one caplock, all of Hawken description.

I gave my son-in-law a flint Hawken .54 for Christmas in early October so he could use it in the October PA ML season. I was asked by, and gave advice on, "stocking stuffer gifts" for ML folks as gifts by two other women. Too bad the PA deer are not as prolific as these "foxes", eh wot?

Traditional muzzleloaders are fine Christmas gifts.
