It's official...almost
My application finally got approved for the Elmore County Search and Rescue. I submitted it a few months ago but it has to go through the Sheriff's office for a background check because no criminals are allowed. It's something I wanted to do for a while and now it's official. I'm in a 6 month probationary period. After that I'll be a full member. It's a good feeling knowing that I'll be out there helping people. When we're on a mission we are temporary auxilliary Sheriff's deputies, which is the reason for the background check. I'm real excited. Just wanted to share it with you.
Mike Anyone have any tips for a newbie SAR guy?
