S&W Mod 49 38 special Bodygaurd

Hi Everyone! I am aquiring this 5 shot revolver for concealed carry purposes and want some advice on what ammo I should use in it . What weight bullet and such. I figure 125 gr Federal Hydra Shocks would be a good canididate. I know 38 special isnt the most powerfull caliber handgun to carry but this mod 49 S&W is very comfortable to conceal and carry. I have a 45 and it is just too bulky and a boat anchor to boot. So a few well placed plus P 38's should do the job. Comments wanted Thanks Roy PS anyone have some favorite reload receipes they want to share for the 38 Special I am all ears!
