Kevorkian Brothers score on two nice 10 pointers at seasons end!

On the second to the last day of our last ditch 2 day gun season which was th 6th and 7th my brother and I shot two ten points within minutes of each other. We were hunting about a half mile from each other, we could still hear each other shoot. About 4:45 p.m. I shot a doe in the neck at about 50 yards and dropped her. About 10 minutes later I heard my brother shoot. Another 5 minutes or so passed before I saw more deer coming down the hill to where I was at, on their tail was a nice ten point. I watched him from about 250 yards out. The does came in and stared at the dead one laying on the ground but did not blow and run back like I have seen them do so many times before. Finally the buck followed right down the fire road and stopped broadside at about 100 yards or so, I started squeezing the trigger and before you know it he was crashing down! I got down and went over to the buck and contemplated calling my brother for help but decided to wait another 15 minutes until dark so I wouldn't disturb his hunt. I decided to just sit down next to my deer, thank the Lord for all my blessings this past season, and wait for dark. I hadn't sat there 2 minutes and my phone rang. It was my brother, he was real excited and told me he had killed a 10 point. I told him I was sitting next to one too, it was unbelievable. Some times things are just meant to be. This will probably never happen again the rest of our lives but I'm sure we will never forget that hunt. I will post pictures as soon as I have time to get some.
