Alright you long range bullet slingers!
There is a newly released cartridge that is sure to be the best long range anything getter ever.
The new cartridge is the .416 Barrett. Its loaded with 200 grains of powder, a 400 grain solid brass boattail spitzer, thats 2" long, with a muzzle velocity of 3,250 fps and remains supersonic past 2,500 yrds with 0.50 MOA accuracy. This is based on the .50 BMG case shortened and necked down to the .416 caliber. The dang things got my interest, but I guess we will have to see if its any good.
