You could consider putting in for the elk draw here in KY. You'd probably have to put in 10 years or more before getting drawn.I really don't know, as I have little interest in a KY elk.I do know that if you get drawn and can shoot, you'll probably score. I think the question would be whether killing an animal that is relatively "tame" do to lax hunting pressure violates your ethics.If you want a hard hunt, go out west.If you want an opportunity to kill an elk and are willing to keep putting your name in the hat, try it.
