if the va says you are "good to go" run with it. after reading your va records and giving you a physical, if the army signs you up don't worry about it.
you are not being decietfull and have not perjured your self. also at age 42 i don't think they are expecting a virgin. you been around the block son, and i'm sure they will look at that aspect. good luck.
