Reassurances re: new member names

Some of you have voiced concerns about certain recent new members. Specifically, that some new member screen names were related to porn.

Be assured that board management is on the case. We catch them about as soon as they register, and screen their profiles for links to inappropriate sites. New members must list verifiable email addresses before they may post in our forums, and so far all such dubious would-be members have failed to pass those verification steps.

We cannot guard against people attempting to register as members, but we can and do take steps to prevent dubious people from posting. Also, please be assured that anyone who does sneak in and post prohibited materials or links will be immediately deleted and banned.
