Death Valley(Mojave desert)

Well a couple weeks ago I made the move from Sacramento to Anaheim. Been poking around online for some places to go hunting and found one about 2-3 hours away. The Mojave desert has a preserve that covers over 1 million acres of huntable land. In the mountains there are mule deer and bighorns but in the area that I ventured to last weekend it seems there would be tons of coyotes and foxes. Took a little walk with the .357 and popped a BIG jackrabbit.

going back up north to get a rifle or two(.270win and maybe the .17rem?), the binos and some jackrabbit distress calls.

anyone ever hunted this region?
