Eureka!
The extra string is a Bass string! It is based on old Russian acoustic designs, and is popular with the jazz set. And now hevay metal types are catching on to it, and the grungers. A pretty sweet gift if you ask me.......................and I am up to three chords! Watch out Joe Walsch!
