Who likes the S&W M27 .357?

I like the 6-inch Model 27 Smith and got an OLD one for my birthday. Ok, I do not age another year until early December, but the wife found one for sale and it now reposes in the vault.

Long ago, when I was a town cop who had to buy his duty gun, I bought a M28 4-inch Smith and carried it on duty. I later used that M28 in PPC events and liked it very much. The M27 is the polished and slicked up version of the Smith .357 N frame guns and I was on the lookout for one. I like my gift very much and it shoots better than I can hold with my cast bullet reloads.

The new S&W guns with the frame-mounted firing pins remind me too much of Ruger GP 100s. I am set in my ways and like Old Smith revolvers and old Colt automatics. Who else likes the old guns?
