Cordoba 20ga commeth at last

Yep, my hunt for a Benelli Cordoba 20ga gun appears to be over. Sent the sheckles off yesterday. Now I await the call from my local dealer. When I get the gun I will run it through the clays course a few times and let you all know how it works.

First though, I must make an extension for the stock of about 5/8 of an inch. My LOP is 15 1/8 and I will also need to work the pitch. I understand the extension will throw the shots low.

Then again perhaps the high comb insert will be the solution. That is if I can ever get to the parts department after the "push 1 for the mens room," etc. Called today, what a goat roping, the parts department is not even on the menu. Benelli & Beretta just never will get the service expectations of Americans squared with the Italian; "What,,,, you want to buy something?" I just hate calling them on the phone.
