For 41 Fans

I got a call yesterday from Starline. I'd been pestering them to offer 41 Special cases so those of us who love the round wouldn't have to trim down 41 Mag brass.

They called to tell me they are talking with a customer to produce a custom run of 41 Specials, and that he'd almost certainly be ordering them for retail sale.

We talked a bit about specs and technical details, which made me feel pretty good.

He cannot reveal customer names, but he did say that he'd call me again if and when the deal went through and where to watch for ads. He hinted that having the headstamp dies on hand might influence their own future plans. YEE Haw!

If you love 41s but haven't tried making and shooting 41 Specials, you are in for a treat - and may be able to cut out the drudgery of trimming in the not-too-distant future!
