Cabela's Shooting catalog
Folks,
This may seem to be a minor issue, but see my concerns noted below. We need to be very aware of our image and how it may influence the non-shooting public. All the best... Gil Subject Dear Sir or Madam: I just received your 2008 Cabela's Shooting and Reloading ... Discussion Thread Response (Betty N.) 06/28/2008 01:19 PM Dear Gil; Thank you for contacting us. I will be happy to pass your comments to the catalog department. I am sorry that you feel it is inappropriate. If there is anything further we can help with, please feel free to contact us. Have a good day! Sincerely, Betty Customer (Gil Martin) 06/28/2008 11:59 AM Dear Sir or Madam: I just received your 2008 Cabela's Shooting and Reloading catalog in the mail. On the cover is what appears to be a shot up tin can sitting on a stump or fencepost WITHOUT A SAFE BACKSTOP. I like Cabela's and shop at your store often. However, I suggest you rethink the picture of the shot up tin can without a safe backstop. I am a hunter safety instructor and the depiction referenced above is unsafe and unacceptable. Thank you. Sincerely, Gil Martin Schnecksville, PA gilmartin_18078#yahoo.com |
