Feeling nostalgic
So I'm sitting here listening to my Bears onling on WBBM. I'm also remembering listening to baseball and football games with him on AM radio. I love watching the games but there's something neat about listening to them. Maybe because the commentators have to be much more animated. A good radio commentator can make you see the game in your mind, almost like you're actually sitting in the stands. Cable wasn't around and satellite dishes were crazy-expensive so he would put the radio on in the garage while he was working on something or another and I would spend the day "helping" and listening to the games. No real subject here, just thought I'd share some good memories.
