excellent point scalerman.

What about coyotes caught in a trap that chew their own leg off to get out? Not enough trap? Coyotes are varmints pure and simple. A living breathing fur covered cockroach the size of a medium dog. They kill their own at any sign of weakness, and kill anything else they can get ahold of. I have seen entire pens of chickens slaughtered by one coyote who ate almost nothing.

We can't always get a clean shot, but if there is a creature I wouldn't feel bad about it happening on it is a danged coyote. I shot one 15 years ago with a 150gr corelokt from a 30-30. He left the area trailing blood with a hole in him big enough to stick my fist through. Is a 30-30 not enough gun?

Antis think there is something mystical and beautiful about a coyote. The only thing mystical about a coyote is how easily they can slip up on you if you are not careful.

Then I commended mirth, because a man hath no better thing under the sun, than to eat, and to drink, and to be merry: for that shall abide with him of his labour the days of his life, which God giveth him under the sun. - Ecclesiastes 8:15 KJV

"The gun has been called the great equalizer, meaning that a small person with a gun is equal to a large person, but it is a great equalizer in another way, too. It insures that the people are the equal of their government whenever that government forgets that it is servant and not master of the governed." - 40th President of the United States Ronald Reagan 1911-2004
