barrel length and revolvers?

For those of you who have carried for a while/carried many different types of firearms:

What do you feel is the maximum barrel length for CC with a revolver (assuming IWB carry)?

I know that the 'bulge' from the cylinder is more of an issue than barrel length, per se, and I can carry my 1911 with a 5" barrel without much difficulty.

Just browsing the used gun websites, and there seem to be more options on revolvers with longer barrels (4" and above) than the 2.5" I've been hankern' for.
