I live in iowa, and i have been out once this year shed hunting and found one side of a little 4 pointer. a couple mornings ago i looked out the back window and walking on the side of the hill was a nice 8 pointer and a nice 6 pointer and a couple does. and i looked out the front window this morning and saw 4 deer including one nice 8 pointer. i would have thought a majority of the deer would have already lost their antlers?, but i guess not.
