M1A prices and availability
The monthly military rifle matches at our local gun club include M1 Garands, AR-15s and M1As. Occasionally a few bolt action rifles make an appearance. One of our shooters is looking for an M1A so I did some looking around to assist him. There seems to be a backorder situation on this rifle and when you can find an M1A the selection is limited and prices are marching upwards. Even used M1As command prices that cause sticker shock around here. Surplus military rifles and their clones are fun to shoot and are a good investment. Get them when you can. All the best...
