2nd shot bag is done!

Well, I've been working on this (these?) projects since the beginning of the year; finally got the second shot pouch done a few weeks back. Here they are:

The tan one is holding about a pound or so of #6 lead shot; the second bag (gray) will be used for nontoxic shot for waterfowling/hunting in areas that require nontox. (That's supposed to be a mallard duck on the beadwork so I can remember which bag holds the nontox). I'm thinking of getting some nice shot, as it is traditional muzzleloader safe and can be loaded in the same manner as lead (w/o the need for plastic shot cups, ect).

Found the "plans" in an issue of The Backwoodsman magazine a few years back....if anyone is interested, I'll look up the issue number. The fellow who wrote the article made one bag out of leather, the other out of denim from an old pair of blue jeans....pretty practical, if I do say so!
So now that these are done, I'm starting work on a beaded leather gun case for the trade musket. Hopefully that one won't take me years to complete!
