What will you give me for this old Army gun?

My Welfare Reciepient UNEMPLOYED Neighbor makes a living off buying rental unit goods at auction. Last Saturday he came to my home and asked me if I wanted an "Old Army Gun" he got from a storage unit auction.

I looked at a Model 38 Swedish 6.5X55MM short rifle. The numbers matched and the bore was "bright." I told my neighbor that all I had was $55 cash in pocket and a case of beer (cold) in the barn refrigerator. He said, "Ok, a done deal."

The Swede is like all Swedes I ever saw, BEAUTIFUL. I cleaned the bore and then ran some ammo up the tube. I now have a lovely stalking rifle for PA bear season with 156 grain RN reloads and then for deer with 140 grain spitzers.

I made a beer run for another case for the barn refrigerator which is also my Thirst Aid Kit!
