The Winter has been mild so far in PA. The day after Christmas I will go afield with capote, flinter, 'hawk and possibles bag. We do not need the Hunter Orange hat and vest and that is OK because I have yet to see another Longhunter in the Flintlock Season.

Five does are bedded on the wooded hill behind my home as that is their Core Area and so it will remain. Neither me or my neighbors allow shooting does. The Pennsylvania Game Commission keeps selling too many doe tags for the revenue and too many folks buy them and then fill them and then say, "I don't see no deer." DUH!

I will carry a .54 flintlock stoked with roundball and 75 grains of 3F Goex. Only a buck need worry.
