Brand New Bow

Well, I finally got my brand new bow, Bear Montana Long Bow, I've owned and shot a lot of bows in my life but never a brand new one.

Opened the package braced it and took it into the front yard with my target and arrows. At 15 yards the first shot was dead center, the second shot was scraping the paint off of the first arrow. The third shot pulled off about an inch to the right of the first two, and I know that was my fault not the bows.

This is the quietest bow I've ever pulled a string on. There is virtually no sound what so ever. It's light, less than 1 pound and easy to pull, no creap, no stacking and again its quiet.

I do believe this is the best investment I've ever made. The arrows are even a little on the heavy side for the draw weight, because they were bought for the compound that I've been shooting and they worked for the Bear Kodiak Hunter recurve that I've been shooting at racoons.

I think I'm hooked on the long bow for the long haul.
