New Game for Traditional Bows?

Shooting Saturday with GoodOlBoy (my oldest and my middle Son) were shooting at the targets in front of GoodOlBoy's home when GoodOlBoy said lets shoot with blunts and use things in the yard for targets.

Well we threw a empty milk jug, a couple of aluminum soda cans, a tin can and used a hole S#*t load of pine cones around the yard and used all of those for targets.

We started with the milk jug and the best hit with the blunts got to choose the next target. We would shoot from where ever the last target landed after shooting it. If no one got the next target, then who ever got the closest when the arrow stopped gets to choose the next one. Closest was determined by seeing whose nock was closest to the target. The targets were from a couple of feet from the shooter to 40 or 50 yards across the yard.

Scoring only counts for each target and no one was keeping score anyway. The only thing that counted was how good a time you could have, and how adventurous or creative you could get with the next target if you won the last target.

We spent 3 or 4 hours enjoying this never got tired of it. The only reason we stopped was the need of nature break, and myself and my wife having to start for home.

So the next time you decide your bored and you've got a bow and arrows handy, mount up your blunts and have a good ol time chasing targets all over your yard.

GoodOlBoy yard pool/golf (what ever) is a heck of a good time.
