Real nice group. I can tell you that the 30 will group differently than the 25`s with the same load. When I start working up a load for a new rifle I set the powder drop on my Dillon 550 and load 5 rounds each of several different bullets. I then up the powder drop a 1/2 grn. or so and load the same bullets. It`s really very interesting to see how different bullets react as the powder charge goes up. I`ve run loads with 2 different .17 cal. guns in this maner comparing the 25 and 30 grn. Bergers to Calhoon bullets of different bullet weights. Some bullets seem to work better at one velosity while other seem to work well over a wide range of velosities. I`ll see if I`ve got any 30 bergers around here, got a kid asleep between me and my vault right now, so I`ll have to look later. I`ve gotten good groups with both the 25 and 30 grn. Bergers, and how did the Calhoon bullets compair the the 25 grn. Berger groups you posted???????
