Well I got my Kubota Tractor

Plowed snow with it today it and it SCHWEET !!!!! Man what fun I can have and I'm thinkg that it is going to be quite the little $$$ maker. I will post an actual picture of it later in phot proof thread but for now this is the one I got http://kubota.com/h/products/bx23.cfm 22hp 3 cyclinder Deisel and will dig and plow all day and night. I got the backhoe, loader and a 54 inch belly mower. Now all I have to get is a Chisel (moldboard) Plow and a disk for it before spring so I can work the garden. I have to give props to the wife on this one she did all the leg work to make sure I could buy it. |

That is one nice piece of machinery you got there. As most of you know, I recently bought a townhouse and got engaged. Well, like you Rubicon, we got about 4 to 5 inches here in Germantown, MD, but it only took me a couple of minutes to shovel the walkway. When the fiance got home from work, I told her that, and she said that I had better enjoy it now because that won't be the case when we buy/build a new home. My reply, do you think I will be out there shoveling snow when we have a house? NO! I will either buy a plow for the truck or I will buy a snow blower. I remember having to shovel my parents circular driveway as a kid and if there is anything I hate more than mowing the grass, it is shoveling the driveway in the freezing cold. Oh yea, after I got out of law school I vowed to never be cold again, probably because of those days hunting without the right equipment and those cold days shoveling snow. Now, I have all the right gear. DaMadman, You are going to have to let me take a look at that thing the next time I am down your way. I hope your garden is pretty big.

Well I am plenty happy with it I played all weekend. I am hoping for more snow now. I played around in my driveway and the subdivsion road in front of the house to get used to it. I think I am ready to make a buck or two in the neighborhood next snowfall. We got around 2 - 3 inches in southern Charles/northern St'Mary's The only thing I still need to get for the Tractor is the chisel plow and a set of Disc for doing the garden. Kubota wante around $300 -$400 for a chisel plow, so I told the guy that was ok I would just get one later. BTW Fabs the garden is about 1/4 acre. so it's plent big for the Kubota. Everyone keeps telling me that this tractor will last 30 years if I abuse it and longer if I take good care of it so I guess I won't ever be buying a riding mower again. |

Is the bucket and backhoe on the tractor at all times, even when you are just mowing the grass.

I want to get a rear grader blade, chisel plow and disc for it and I will have everything I could possibly need. I already have a chisel (moldboard) plow for my garden tractor but it is a sleeve hitch setup instead of the cat. 1, 3 point hitch but I think I found an adapter for it. Idunno I will probably just sell the garden tractor and the 3-4 sleeve hitch implements I have and buy a used 3 point plow and the other stuff before spring |

Kubota, great tractor and easy on fuel. The official lawn tractor of the Minnesota Twins (who play on turf in a dome). Good tractors, take care of it and your grandkids will use it. I'm still using a couple old John Deere tractors my grandpa bought new, one is a 1939 B. My boy loves it. I'll bet he never thought his great grandson would be using it.

Nice Rig! I have owned a Kubota Lawn/Garden tractor for 13 years and have to say that I would buy another without any hesitation.
