Is one of those ways a private e-mail to someone in the vicinity?  I know what you are saying about biologists. Any information that I recieved from them, not Ak but in lower 48, was rather vague to say the least. It seems more like he/she gave everyone the same answer no matter what the question was. Rather disappointing to say the least.
