nice pic

neat lookin critter. might take a while for us north americans to get used to, but they sure do look nice. keep the pic's-a-coming. don't get to see too many of the animals from your corner of the globe, and always like to get to know what is out there.

Hi again

The sheep in my pic is special and may not give the right image of the Icelandic sheep. Itīs maybe hard to explain for me but this one is one of the "leaders". The genes are different, they do not weight as much as the normal ones, they are thinner, more colorful and have longer legs. You might say that they are closer to be wild. They usually take the lead for the flock and can be very useful but not all farms have them. In Iceland sheep can live wild but are usually all collected from the mountains before winter.

One year old sheep (male) would look almost just like the one you added 338.
