Remington VS

Alright, here's the deal...

I just bought a nice used Rem vs in .223 today. Only problem I came across is, when you load it, it won't hold more then two shells without spitting them up. Any ideas what I can do to solve the problem? If I load like 4 or 5 and try to cycle the bolt, 50% of the time it'll try to double feed into the camber. This is making me go nutts. I don't mind single feeding, I usually do it at the range, but I also wouldn't mind holding 5 shells in the gun. Any help would be appreciated

That's what I was thinking when I 1st tired to load her up.

I dropped the floor plate and tried switching the follower around but it seems it can only go one way.

Not only should it NOT spit them out , it should take 6 down with out doing it. I load my .222 (same configuration) 6 down and 1 up all the time.

I dunno what I did but I fixed it somehow. I took the stock off to check to see if somehow I could adjust my trigger since it's heavy. Anyways, I reassembled it and decided to load her up. All shells stay now and it chambers everyone. Now I just need to get an aftermarket trigger, unless somehow you can adjust it? I didn't see a way. I suppose I'll search...

Thanks for the helpful hints though.
