I'm sorry. I thought that I saw your gun on another board for sale.  I guess the 270 isn't light when compared the way you did it. I thought your 270 was like a featherweight Mod 70 or something. I didn't know it weighed that much. I never tasted lama that I knew of. When I was younger I used to have a saying, "A missed opportunity is just that" ( a missed opportunity)
