Roy,
I loaded up some 40 gn. Serrias for my .222 Contender, 10 in. barrel. They are very accurate, but what you said about the Hornady not exiting has me worried. I got 1 groundhog with the 32 gn. Serria bullets in .204 and no exit wound at 165 yrds. These bullets will not kill a coyote. I`ve hit 4 of them with this bullet and knocked 1 of them down hard 2 times and he still got up and hobbled away. If you don`t have an exit wound on the small stuff, don`t even try them on coyote. I think I`ll keep these 40 gners. for groundhogs and load some 55`s for coyote, I really hate for them to get away.
