			I've had fairly good results with mine in .45 cal.  I have yet to take a deer with it, but from the shooting I've done, it's got plenty of energy to take them a lot farther than I have any business shooting at them.  At 400 yards, the bullets will completely flatten out and seperate the jacket and core against a steel gong.  That's the Hornady XTP 40 cal 180 grain.
