hellow, for dispatching what part of the head is the brain in a animal, cause i want to shoot the right place, thanks guys

Right between the eyes, then go up about an inch, depending on the type of animal. I use a standard .22 long rifle load.

would that work on all animals, and if i shot it right between the ears on the back of the head would that work

I don`t recomand shooting an opposum in the head to kill them. Their brain is smaller than the last joint on your little fingure and is incased in bone. I shot very few animals that were in traps anyway. I used to use a 1/4 steel rod and 1 blow acrossed the top of the head would due any thing in. You just have to learn how hard to hit each to kill them and not do to much damage to the skulls.

for chest shooting would it be a quick way to go if i shot it in the chest a few times. i used to shoot them that way but i heard they die of sufficcation, i was wanting to know if that is humane
