Swiss K11

I picked up a nice 1911 Sporter. It was made in 1927 all of the numbers match and there are no import marks on the barrel.

Dog Yeller,

I have a Karabine exactly like your's. ( I also have a Dog Yeller), but that is another story. I got my Karabine from a Baptist Minister in East Texas in 1969.

The M1911 Schmidt-Rubin is a fine arm and the M1911 Karabine is a nice gun. Your photo indicates someone cut down the issue stock on your arm. Norma makes ammo and you can reload for the Karabine because it is listed in many reloading manuals.
