Hats off to him Bob, and it in no way looked like Texas (although some areas do look similar to SW TX) but the PH not only spoke with a South African accent, he was also speaking Afrikaan's to the Trackers. You can clearly hear this on the video. Worn claws and a broken jaw most likely saved the Doc from serious injury or even death, and yes, it all happened at the speed of light.
