Ditto on "not preferred" but I use Pam (cooking spray available at any grocery) when I run low on the professional goop (I use Dillons spray normally).

I dont spray it on the cases though, you will get grease dents. Spray it lightly on a paper towel or cloth and roll the cases for a very light coat.

This stuff is slicker than snot on a doorknob (dont ask me how I know).
