First, download TurboLister to help you build your ads. It's great, and it's free.
Second, you don't have to auction everything. You can set a fixed price as a "Buy Me Now" item, and also list multiple identical items in the same ad. I have an item up right now. Built the ad on TurboLister and uploaded it. It's a "Buy It Now" item, five available, PayPal required and Priority Mail shipping only. Check out item 140084386516 You do not need to open an eBay store - but you can later if your business blooms. But do apply for their "Certified Seller" review process. People trust you MUCH more if you are a Certified Seller.
