Well, I got out and put over 100 rounds through this little puppy yesterday. I've got to say, I'm pretty impressed with it. Had three slight jam ups, and those were in the first 50 rounds. Even those were easily cleared by racking the slide. After that it performed flawlessly. Accuracy was good also.
The main complaints I found on reading reviews of this gun were recoil and long trigger pull. It did take me about 2 clips to get used to that long double action pull, but after that it wasn't even noticeable. Especially when shooting in fast, point and shoot scenarios. That was another thing I found I liked very well... I was more accurate doing point and shoot at 7 paces, than trying slow controlled aimed shots. To me this is very important in a carry gun.
As for the recoil, I didn't find it bad at all. The trigger guard did rub against my trigger finger at first. I either got used to it or worked some of the plastic away . That is the next thing I will do with this little thing, take my dremel and clean up some of the flashing left on the plastic from molding.
All in all, I am very happy with this shooter, and would suggest it to anyone needing a very small carry gun.
Especially for the price. Below is a picture of the P3AT next to my Springfield XD9 (4"barrel). It gives you a pretty good idea of how small this is. Plus it's only 3/4" thick.
