I have a good supply of .50 caliber wads, so I can load shot loads or shoot roundball out of the .50 smoothbore barrel. I have gotten some nice patterns out to 35 yards with #6 shot loads out of the smooth barrel, 75 grains of 2F Goex and a 1 1/8th ounce charge of shot. Happy July 4th, Adam
