Indiana Rifle season??????

Heard a rumor that the DNR is now allowing rifles chambered for pistol cartridges to be used in deer season . Anyone else hear this rumor as a new contender rifle barrel or lever action/auto 44 mag might be in order before November.

anyone 500 Smith and wesson lever rifle action makers out there yet??

Just checked out the Indiana DNR website, and rifles with pistol cartridges are legal to hunt with this fall. Check out page 16 of the 2007-2008 hunting and trapping guide on the website.
