new grouse hunting technique

I was with my wife visiting her family in the Catskills in NY this weekend, went did some grouse hunting on the property while there. We come back from a long afternoon tired and empty handed of walking the mountain side for grouse and come to find out we had our hunting technique all wrong. All we needed to do is to drive to the store in town and use a car to kill one. Well thats how it worked out for my wifes cousin. She went to get some lunch for the kids and on her way back a grouse was in the road and as she came over the crest of the hill she had no time to swirve and WHAMO she got her first grouse....
