Dan, with Canadian law we can only shoot handguns at a registered range. At home they muct be double locked (trigger lock & in a locked case) and the ammo stored seperately.

It sucks, since I have access to lots of land I could shoot on. I can take my rifles & shotguns any time I want, but never the handguns.

There are a couple of groups in Canada that are trying to get CCW legal. But since there was a shooting recently in Toronto with a registered handgun (of which the legal owner did the shooting) there is a call for an all out ban.

I don't really see that happening as long as there is a Conservative government, but nothing much will happen with the minority we have right now.

Oops went a little off topic.. or at least at a tangent.
