You make a good point about auto reliability. At our agency semi-annual qulaifications we always had the Slap-Rap-Boom drill with dummy rounds to condition agents to clear malfunctions quickly. Autos require perfect magazines and perfect ammo and no limp wrist for 100% reliability. I have some that are reliable without a stutter and others that are not 100%.

My revolver is to cover my hasty retreat in a shoot out-this is not the OK Corral where we stand and deliver until the smoke clears.
