Just returned from my third hunt with Red Bluff Ranch in Texas. Wendell was an excellent host and the hunting for Aoudad remains one of my best exotic hunts anywhere to date. My third attempt to take one was finally successful on the third evening. He scores 134.25 points. 13 inch bases 28.5 inch horn length. The rough Juniper covered canyons and draws make hunting them a challenge. I saw several other billies/rams (Aoudad are neither goat nor sheep I am told. Maybe classed as what.....a Goatalo?...lol)
