Thank you Rocky. I was wondering if anybody was going to figure this out, or if all I was going to read is a bunch of ranting and raving.

Being a member of the NRA is a good thing. For one thing, they keep me informed of everything that is going on that is related to firearms, both pro and anti. They let me know when a bill is coming up in my state legislature and they tell me what it is about. They do the same thing for federal legislation. Really, it has been great. When the Maryland legislature had an assault weapon ban bill on their plate, the NRA let me know about it and I let my state representatives know that I was vehemently opposed to it.

By the way, this is all done via e-mails from the NRA.

If you aren't a member of the NRA, I would suggest that you join. Don't get me wrong, I don't always agree with their position on something (i.e., maybe 2% of the time), but they are a great organization for the protection of our 2nd Amendment right and they are really good about getting information out to their members.

It is way better to be WELL informed, than to be informed with the wrong information.
