How to value a used NEF

A guy I used to work with has a couple NEF's for sale, one is a .243 with scope bases. But he wants me to make an offer, he will not give a price.

So under a best case conditions, what would be a price range? I now it is about 8 years old. And it is very clean, the condition is not in question, just the bid I should throw out there.

On gunbroker I see them going from $175 yo $280. If it is in very good condition I would say you could start the bidding around $150 and work your way up from there.
