Harris bipods

Anybody ever used the Harris bipods? Are they relatively easy to get on/off of a bolt action rifle?

They screw on/off the front sling swivel- very easy to remove.

Yep, easy to get on/off and stable as the day is long, but I will be honest my Rock Ridge I liked better than the Harris when I bought it and I paid about half as much for it. The only issue is you cannot get the swivel one in the Rock Ridge to my knowledge.

I too have one of the (I believe they're called) Shooter's Ridge bipods. I got it at Wally World. I have been using it now for two seasons hunting groundhogs and haven't had any problems. GOB: that same company does make one that swivels but, according to Midway it costs nearly as much as the Harris. I got one that was marked Winchester for my son at Wal-Mart. It's not quite as nice as the Shooters Ridge model but it has proven completely serviceable and has not given any problems. It's been my experience - at least with the two that we have - that they work great as long as they are tightened down good and snug and you use them from a good, steady rest.

Yep mine came from Wally world as well. If I was paying close to the same amount I would buy the Harris.
